FAMILY GROUPS
The heartbeat of our fellowship.
|
Family Groups is about people. Jesus
put us in the "people business" and our mission is to bring people
together in the Lord. When God's people begin to fellowship
outside the church services, they are better positioned to serve and
care for each other. Our goal is for each member to be built up
by identifying their individual gifts, strengths and being accountable
to one another.
We celebrate
the good things of life with each other and if trouble comes, we rally and support each other.
We believe this is the way the Lord intended His Church to be. Sunday service is where we
come together to worship the Lord and rejoice in His goodness.
Family Groups is where we build relationships that please the Lord.
Family Groups are our version of "cell groups". We meet in a host home and
have food & fellowship. The atmosphere is free and we have discussions
where everyone contributes. Family Groups is where we
learn "body ministry"; hands on, praying for each other, holding up each other
and making people connections.
